With over 2 decades of experience in instructional design and digital learning development, Dave has worked at the intersection of education, technology, and cognitive science to build tools that help learners achieve fluency faster and with deeper understanding.Drawing on research from memory science, retrieval practice, and metacognitive strategies, Dave designed VerbMastery.com to be more than just a verb chart site. The platform integrates interactive games, targeted drills, and guided lessons that reflect the way the brain actually learns and retains language—making it a favorite among Spanish teachers and students alike. The course is used in classrooms across the U.S. and has been tested in real college and high school environments.Dave holds advanced degrees in education and curriculum design, certificates in AI, and has collaborated with teachers at every level—from junior high to university—to ensure that VerbMastery supports classroom goals while also enabling self-paced study. He is passionate about creating tools that save teachers time and give students more autonomy in their learning journeys.When he's not building learning tools, Dave enjoys making kefir, singing barbershop harmony, and spending time with his family. He is also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a faith that guides his commitment to honesty, service, and educational empowerment.
