Here are all of the Spanish tenses that you’ll learn in the course. As you do the quiz, don’t get overwhelmed. Remember, you’ll gradually learn each tense one by one. This game simply gives you an overview of what you’ll be learning. If you master this game, you’ll have a huge head start for the rest of the course! (But, if it feel like it’s too much, don’t worry and just move on – you’re not meant to master it – yet.)

  • Present Tense (I cook) – cocino
  • Present Perfect Tense (I have cooked) – he cocinado
  • Preterite Tense (I cooked) – cociné
  • Imperfect Tense (I was cooking / I used to cook) – cocinaba
  • Future Tense (I will cook) – cocinaré
  • Conditional Tense (I would cook) – cocinaría
  • Present Subjunctive (It’s important that I cook) – cocine
  • Imperfect Subjunctive (If I cooked) – cocinara
